Dotson Healthcare Institute is a non-profit organization within the State of Texas. We are a boutique school located in the Spring area.

STUDENT GRIEVANCE NOTICE
DOTSON HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE HAS A CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL FROM THE TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION (TWC)
The TWC-assigned school number for DOTSON HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE is: S5870.
The school’s programs are approved by TWC, as well as the Nurse Aide Training approved by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission in accordance with Texas Administrative Code Title 40, Part 1, Chapter 556 the Standards for Nurse Aides.
Each student shall receive a copy of the complaint and grievance policy and the school shall maintain proof of the delivery.
A student who has a concern about this school or any of its educational programs is encouraged to schedule a conference with the instructor and/or school’s Program Director (or designee) to find resolution. If an issue is not resolved to a student’s satisfaction through the conference, the student can file a formal complaint in writing documented on the Student Grievance Form and email to the Program Director (or designee) at nicole@thedotsonhealthcareinstitute.org or delivered in person or via USPS as outlined in the school’s catalog. The Program Director (or designee) will review all completed complaint forms, take appropriate action, and provide a written response to the student by the 10th business day after the formal written complaint is received by any member of the school faculty or staff. The school is responsible for ensuring and documenting that all students have received a copy of the school’s complaint and grievance procedure. The school will then maintain the complaint/grievance report including any associated documentation. The school will diligently work to resolve all complaints at the local school level.
Unresolved Complaints/Grievances:
Students dissatisfied with the school’s response to their complaint or who are not able to file a complaint with the school, can file a complaint with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), as well as with other relevant agencies or accreditors, if applicable.
